We will pick you up in Weardale ( other points available ), then take you on an amazing chauffeured trike tour of Weardale & Teesdale, then on into Cumbria along one of the best biking roads in the country before heading into Richmondshire in the Yorkshire dales, to the highest pub in the Uk ,
'the Famous Tan Hill Inn'.
At 1732 ft above sea level this totally remote pub is fantastic !

With its roaring coal fire, real ale, great food, resident ghosts, livestock and local characters you're guarenteed of a warm welcome.

Your accomodation is already booked and the night is yours to enjoy.

Then next morning after your hearty breakfast and fond farewells you will be picked up on the trike before being whisked off for an hours ride through Arkengarthdale and Barnard Castle before home.

Stay at the High Force hotel after enjoying a 3 hour Last Wilderness tour.

Weve teamed up with our friends at the High Force hotel located in Teesdale in the North Pennines to offer you this fantasic experience.

We will pick you up from our log cabin base in Weardale ( other points available ), then take you on an amazing chauffeured trike tour of Weardale , Teesdale, Northumberland & Cumbria, the area known as 'Englands last wilderness' which nestles the North Pennines.

This wild area is rich in wildlife, grouse, birds of prey and rare plants and the second largest national park in the UK.

An area of outstanding natural beauty this tour takes in the highest roads in England, the views and the climate are awe inspiring.

After a couple hrs riding we arrive at the High Force hotel where you room is booked for the night.

With coal & log fires, great food, a well stocked bar and a friendly welcome you can settle in for the evening at the bar or restaraunt or take a walk to view Englands highest waterfall which is right outside the front door.

The next morning after a hearty breakfast we will pick you up and continue our trike tour through Teesdale & Weardale.

High Force Hotel History

It was built at the beginning of the 19th century by the dukes of Cleveland as a hunting lodge. The two end elevations were built some 100 years later to accommodate the royal hunting party. The then Prince of Wales visited high force in August 1866 and his photograph can be seen in the hotel which is located above Keedholme Gorge and the River Tees and opposite the short woodland walk to the mighty High Force Waterfall, long-famous as England’s largest and most dramatic waterfall. At different seasons throughout the year, this mighty waterfall presents a different appearance and character. Whether Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter.

The High Force Hotel is an historic coaching inn located in beautiful Upper Teesdale and the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty .
All our rooms are serviced on a daily basis with fresh towels and top ups for the tea and coffee facilities.
