Stunning ride up through the Durham dales to blanchland in Northumberland, Hexham & Corbridge before joining the Military road on Hadrians wall.

With fine views ove the Scottish border we follow the wall past the forts along the way before taking a break for refreshments.

Then its across to the South Tyne trail and on into Cumbria, Alston britains highest town and then Killhope and Upper Weardale.
